We are a small fellowship of Christians who desire to see a confessional Reformed Baptist church planted in Singapore. We fully subscribe to the historic London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689. We gather every Sunday for worship with the intention of covenanting together as a local church.

For many years, the Damansara Reformed Baptist Church in Malaysia has noted the need of a truly confessional Reformed Baptist Church in Singapore. Individuals of Reformed Baptist persuasion who contacted us were advised to attend other Reformed churches for want of a church suited to them. Our understanding of a confessional church is found in the book “What Is A Confessional Church?”. As we prayed over the matter, the Lord convinced us by various providential indications that it was time we launch a new work there. On 13 February 2023, a team consisting of Pastor Poh, his wife Goody, and Brother Martyn, went to Singapore to hold a Bible Study with a number of individuals. This was the first of a series of studies on the theme of “The Biblical Basis For Church Planting”. Another meeting was held on 27 March 2023. A third visit saw the launch of our inaugural worship service on Sunday 23 April 2023, following the third Bible Study on Friday — both meetings held in borrowed premises. In God’s goodness, we were able to secure a more permanent place to meet in at Cluny Guest Home of the OMF International, which is located along Cluny Road, opposite the Botanic Gardens. We have called ourselves the Cluny Reformed Baptist Fellowship, which operates under the oversight of the Damansara Reformed Baptist Church.

Our mission is to reach out and share the gospel with those who do not know Christ as their savior. Our aim is to win souls for Christ and not to grow at the expense of other churches. |

1 Timothy 3:15 Our vision is to plant local churches that are committed to the gospel as well as sound teaching. We not only desire for people to have true faith in Christ but also to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our hope is for many more confessional Reformed Baptist churches to be planted South East Asia and beyond. |
